28 Years of Sponsorship

Reigning panorama champions and twelve-time winners of Grenada's annual Panorama Competition, the Republic Bank Angel Harps Steel Orchestra received a major boost from team sponsor Republic Bank in the form of a $30,000 contribution.

During the handing over ceremony on Wednesday, April 08, the Bank reaffirmed its commitment to cultural advancement and preservation in Grenada.

Managing Director, Mr. Keith Johnson who presented the cheque to Mr. David Seales and Mr. Bernard Ross, of the Band’s management team, also shared some words of encouragement to the orchestra. He noted the band’s proud and envious record over the twenty-eight years of the Bank’s sponsorship.

Proud sponsor of Steelpan since 1982, Republic Bank is pleased to play a supporting role in preserving the pride and joy of Grenada’s top steel orchestra and extends best wishes to the Band in the 2009 competition.
