Republic Bank Angel Harps win Bomb Competition
11th July, 2009 - Republic Bank Angel Harps was tonight adjudged the winner of the 2009 Bomb Tune Competition which was held as part of the Panorama Launch 2009 in Tivoli St. Andrews. Playing an Andy Chichester arrangement of Cybert's August is the Time, they scored a total of 254 points, edging out Coyaba New Dimension who placed second with 251 points. In third position was Rainbow City All Stars.
The competition which had a stipulation of a maximum of 25 players per orchestra saw the disqualification of Pan Wizards who, though originally finishing in second place with 253.5 points, was alleged to have played with more than the allotted number of players.
