Bands receive sponsorship

June 23, 2007 - Two of the steel orchestras taking part in Panorama 2007 will be appearing with new sponsors. The bands are Pan Wizards and Florida West Side Symphony.

Pan Wizards who hail from River Road are sponsored by Steele's Auto and will be now known as Suzuki Pan Wizards. Florida West Side Symphony (formerly Florida All Stars) are now sponsored by Digicel and will be now known as Digicel Florida West Side Symphony. The band was previously sponsored by AT&T whose operations in Grenada were acquired by Digicel.

On behalf of all pan lovers, we say thank you to Steele's Auto and Digicel for their support to these bands. This brings to six (6) the number of steelbands currently receiving sponsorship from the business community. As of today, there are three steelbands without sponsorship. They are the Rainbow City All Stars, who were previously sponsored by GRENLEC, Corinthians and Grand Roy Pan Angels.
