Steelbands draw for appearance order at Panorama Launch

June 24, 2007 - The eight senior steel orchestras participating in the Panorama Launch scheduled for Sunday July 1st at the Tanteen Sports Complex yesterday drew for their appearance positions. These positions  will be used for the appearance senior and junior bands and the appearance of the senior bands in the Rhythm Section Competition.

Drawing first position was Grand Roy Pan Angels with defending panorama champions Cable & Wireless Commancheros pulling position two. Republic Bank Angel Harps will follow at three and they will be followed by Suzuki Pan Wizards at position four. Digicel Florida West Side Symphony will appear in fifth position, Courts New Dimension in sixth, with Corinthians and CapBank Pan Lovers appearing in seventh and eighth positions respectively. This will also be the appearance order for the Rhythm Section Competitionj

In the Junior Bands category, Grand Roy Pan Angels will be in position one, followed by Cable & Wireless Commancheros, Republic Bank Angel Harps and Suzuki Pan Wizards. The show will begin at 5.00 pm sharp.
