Republic Bank Angel Harps Win Panorama

10th August, 2008 -- Republic Bank Angel Harps returned triumphantly to winners row when they won the 2008 Grenada national panorama competition at the Queen's Park Stadium last night.

Playing a James Clarkson composition and arrangement of "My Friend Clive" the Harps secured an emphatic victory, scoring a total of 270 points to notch up their 12th National Panorama Title.

In second place was Coyaba New Dimension with 262 points while Suzuki Pan Wizards pulled in with a 3rd place finish. Defending panorama winners for the past two years, Cable & Wireless Commancheros finished in 4th position and had their hopes of becoming the only band to win three consecutive panorama titles dashed by the boys and girls from Tanteen.
