Angel Harps Juniors looking to recapture Junior Panorama Title

July 23, 2008 --- Republic Bank Angel Harps are busy preparing for this year's Junior Panorama carded to take place at the National Stadium on Saturday August 2nd 2008.

The Junior Harps will be playing a selection entitled "Let's Have Fun". The song was composed by James Clarkson and is being arranged by Dixon Frank. The band is hard at practice at the Tanteen Pan House and can be heard going through their paces every afternoon from 4pm.

Republic Bank Angel Harps Juniors will be looking to get back into winners row after a long absence from the prized first place position. They will be looking to go one position better than their second place position last year and dethrone reigning Junior Panorama Champions Cable & Wireless Commancheros.

Angel Harps Juniors last won the Junior competition in 2000 which culminated a streak of five consecutive Junior Panorama Championships going back to 1995 and which included winning the championship in the succeeding years of 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2000.

Republic Bank Angel Harps still holds the record for the most consecutive Junior Panorama Championships and the most Junior Titles overall.
