2009 Learners Program begins 14th September, 2009
August 29th, 2009 -- The 2009 Republic Bank Angel Harps Learners program will begin on Monday 14th September with the registration process beginning at 5.00 pm at the Angel Harps Pan House in Tanteen.
The program is open to persons aged eight years old and upwards. Registration forms can be obtained from the Angel Harps Pan House or can be downloaded from this website by clicking here. Registration fee for each person is EC$30.00 and pan sticks will be on sale at the pan house. Parents of children 17 years and under are encouraged to attend the registration process with their children.
Practice days for the Learners Program will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5.00 to 6.00 pm and on Saturdays from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm. CLICK HERE FOR REGISTRATION FORM
Coyaba New Dimensions Win Panorama
August 09, 2009 -- Coyaba New Dimensions last night ended a five-year drought when they won the 2009 Grenada National Panorama Championship at the National Stadium. Playing "Pan Fever", a song composed and arranged by David Peck Edwards, New Dimensions scored 268.5 points easily beating Food Fair/Suzuki Pan Wizards and Republic Bank Angel Harps into second and third places respectively. Steelbands draw for Panorama 2009 Order of Appearance
August 6th, 2009 -- The eight steelbands participating in Grenada's Panorama competition 2009 yesterday drew for their positions of appearance at this year's event to be held at the National Stadium on Saturday August 8th. LIME Commancheros do the Hattrick
Saturday, Aug 1st, 2009 -- LIME Commancheros Juniors today won their third consecutive Junior Panorama Title at this year's Children Carnival Frolic at the National Stadium. Playing a Stephen Greenidge arrangement of Smallie's One for My Fans, Cheros scored a total of 244 points narrowly beating former two-time champions AGD Signs Wiz Kids who placed second on 243 points.
